How to Design a Front Cover Using Canva
The front cover is one of the most important areas of your magazine. Having a well-designed cover creates curiosity and compels people to open and read your magazine.
If you're a professional graphic designer, you'll probably use Adobe InDesign to create your magazine.
However, if you're a novice, a great alternative is using Canva. It's a graphic design platform with thousands of custom templates for social media, presentations, and other visual content.

Designing from scratch
Log in to your Canva account.
Click 'Create a Design' on the top right corner.
Tap 'Custom dimensions' to create your own size.
Then, you'll be redirected to a new page where you can start creating your magazine.
You can choose to upload your own photos or choose from over 1 million stock images in Canva. You can also add filters, text, videos and other design elements.
Once that's done, you can download the page and upload it on Mobimag.
Using magazine cover templates
Alternatively, if you don't want to create your magazine cover from scratch, there are thousands of magazine cover templates you can choose from inside Canva.
To do this, you need to open your Canva account and search for "Magazine Cover" design type.
Then, select the template you want to use and customise the page in Canva.
Once you're done editing the template, you can now download the page as a PDF file and upload it into Mobimag.
